Curiously unfinished votive Japanese folk art piece of worshipper's wooden tablet offered for Shinto shrine, called 'Ema' (lit. 'Horse picture'). Showa period, Pre-1950.
Slightly painted two horses and the letter of 'Dedication' at front side, and signed the names of couple (husband and wife?) at the backside. Wooden nails.
