Votive miniture wooden ship distributed from Osaki shrine (at Karakuwa peninsula in Kesennuma area, Miyagi prefecture) to the local fishermen,
originated from a folklore of the white whale sacred to the god of Osaki shrine helped out the cargo ship against great storms. Showa 31 (1956), Japan.
