OSHIE HINA DOLL, A-UN KOMAINU DOGS

'Hina doll' (Traditional Japanese doll displayed at the Girls' Festival) of 'Oshie' (Almost two-dimensional textile figure made of 'chirimen' (silk crepe), cotton, bamboo, and paper), as the motif of a pair of 'Komainu' (Guardian Dogs) in the relationship of 'A-un' (Inspiration and Expiration; Beginning and End of all the things in the universe; Alpha and Omega). Newspaper with the date of Meiji 25 (1892) is used for its lining.
