VASE FOR A SINGLE FLOWER
Originally an excavated tubular pottery kiln-tool with such coincidental natural-glazed landscape (keshiki) created by kiln-fire, Edo period (1603-1868) or earlier, Karatsu/Imari area, Kyushu region, Japan, approx. H 19cm (7.48in), filled up its bottom hole with resin by the former owner to apply to a tea-ceremonial vase in the later years. No leak.
