Japanese Buddhist hanging scroll mounted with woodblock-printed paper talisman so-called 'Riken Myogo' ("Namu Amida Butsu" in sword style) as a chanting of homage to Amida Buddha written in sharp‐pointed font like the sword that protect from evil spirit. Showa period, 20th century. Mounting: 26.5 x 127.2 cm (10.43 x 50.07in). Worm holes as seen.
