Guest Book
The pale yellow background decorated in shades of white and gray to simulate a traditional pen-and-wash painting, depicting branches of a tree against a clouded sun. Shakudo rims. Meiji (1868-1912). 152mm / 6 inches high. Good condition.

The attribution is not easy. Several manufacturers tried to copy Namikawa Sosuke's success in this style. Similar pieces by Ando Jubei are known and a dish signed Ito, with a very similar palette, was included in the 'Krikorian' sale (lot 219).

All items sold are guaranteed genuine and as described. A full money back guarantee is offered.
