Guest Book

A beautifully cast terra-cotta head and torso of a Maya noble or deity measuring 7" in height by 4" in width mounted on a museum quality metal stand. The artifact comes from Mexico and dates Ca. 100 - 850A.D. He is wearing an ornate head piece with a small eroded area from ancient times on the right side of the headpiece. He is sporting ear spools, a large nose ornamentation on his projecting nose. He has a wide flat forehead with almond shaped eyes and retains strong traces of the original red pigment. He exudes power and strength and would be a force to be reckoned with.
