A pair of implements used in Shinto rituals, often at weddings, of chased brass called Nagae-Choshi and Hisage. Each is chased with floral images, filigree and meritorious symbols such as the crane. The long-handled Nagae-choshi is 19 inches (48 cm) long. Both are in fine condition, dating from the first part of the 20th century.
