A sparse figurative landscape by multi talented Meiji literati potter Mashimizu Zoroku (1822-1877) dated 1876 enclosed in the original signed wooden box. Ink and light color on paper, wrapped in a copper silk border with ceramic rollers. Very rare! It measures 16 x 79 Inches (41 x 201 cm); Minor wrinkles and 2 spots top center.
