The floral decoration with polychrome enamels girdles the 3 elements as well as the top of the lid. Signed on the base: Togo Jyukatsu. Origin: Japan. Period: Meiji (1868-1912). Height: 4cm. Togo Jyukatsu (1855-1936), born in Satsuma (Kagoshima peninsula). The artist is known for the satsuma incense burner of an elephant presented at the National Museum of Tokyo
