It is entirely enamelled in polychrome green, red, gold... on a white ground. The decor represents a couple of quails near a stream and among chrysanthemums. The handle is in the shape of a dragon and the spout represents a phoenix. The collar is nicely hemmed with, inside, a frieze in iron red. Porcelain from the Kutani kilns. Period: Meiji late 19th century. Height 27 cm.
