This beautiful doll was hand made by renowned doll artist Lynda Marx and her husband Alan Marx and is signed as such on the back of the doll on her neck. Every Lynda Marx doll I have ever owned was made with the highest of expertise and of the finest quality bisque. And this is also the case with this doll, who has a lovely fair bisque head, rosy cheeks, mauve shadow over the big, spiral, blue glass set eyes, feather stroke eyebrows, painted nostrils and little sweet lips with a slight curled, c...

I love the antique lamps that were made from these same big faceted glass jewels and ormolu metal work around them so when I saw this little vase, I knew I had to have it! I have never seen one of these done as a small vase before. The pretty jewels are intermittent two sides with yellow and green switched on either side, and two sides with blue and red. There is a thick gold tone band on the top and bottom with chased floral metal work soldered down the sides and across the interior to hold the...
The Georgian comet brooches are always small, like this pin which measures almost 1 1/4” long to what would represent the comet’s tail by 3/4” across what would represent the comet’s head. Many times the Georgian comet brooches resemble a flower with ‘branches’ expressing the shooting star streams of the comet. This brooch’s style was made in that fashion.
I have had and collected many different comet brooches, but it is rare to find one set with opaline pastes. The jeweler set ...
This is the very best antique ‘jeweled’ mirror and brush vanity set that I have ever owned. Each of the cut glass ‘gems’ is set in a closed back, saw tooth setting and then soldered into the detailed metal of French flora, garland and bow. Both the brush and mirror are very durable and rather heavy due to all the metal and glass. The mirror is beveled set with butterfly type clips, French bows at the top of both pieces, filigree and embossed metal work all around. All stones are original...

Round cut, they vary in sizes descending from the largest center stone in the front being almost a cushion cut, then graduating round stones on either side all the way to back of the clasp, o-ring chain link soldered in-between each of the stones. All paste are in a closed back, clawed down setting with pointed backs in gilt metal; an early squared barrel push-in clasp to the reverse in...

Lovely Simon and Halbig 939 German bebe doll made for the French market, she is adorable with her long French face, dark brown eyes still on their original rockers and just a little smile showing tiny teeth. Her thick antique brown wig compliments dark feathers eyebrows.
She is on her very nice, sturdy German body with straight wrists, which is in very good antique condition showing just some wear around the joints as expected. Her string is ok, not loose and not tight. She can hold any pose ...
Beautiful pale bisque on this lovely Jumeau, painted by famed doll artist Emily Hart in 2008. She has beautiful blue green set glass eyes, rosy cheeks and big juicy two tone painted lips. A pretty vintage blonde synthetic mohair curly hair is a good match to her skin tone. She is on a fully articulating vintage body that is also in good condition.
She is wearing a lovely antique style silk doll dress with floral embroidery, pleated drop skirt and rope over the ruffled bodice. There is an acco...

Such a beautiful and rare example of the treasures made for the grand tour trade during the mid-1800s. This pretty little ormolu French center piece has the original blue and clear glass and only found in grand tour pieces where we usually expect an opaline insert. As expected, the metal floral work is quite eloquent, but having the cold painted enameling and faux jewels triple the enhancement of this little garden of delight.
The blue to clear glass insert with lovely pointed and round cut e...

Adorable little artist Bleuette made completely of porcelain bisque. Her pretty little bisque head is an SFBJ 60 Paris 8/0 mold, all hand painted she is nicely rendered with a red lipped, open smile. She is a happy faced child! Bright blue set glass eyes with little pained lashes, feathered brows and rosy cheeks and dimpled 'le derrière' body.
She is not like other artist Bleuettes; her body was also handmade of porcelain hand painted with straight wrists and is fully articulating with blush...
I saw the face on this doll and I knew I had to have her! I just loved her snobby expression. A very nicely done Barrois artist doll, a finely painted bisque with set cobalt blue eyes and a nice blond ringlet wig. The head can swivel from side to side just a little. Her bisque shoulder plate bisque is set into a leather body with lower bisque arms, just like the antique. I always look for a true likeness in artist reproductions and the artist did a very good job at interrupting this French Fashi...
Here is an old German doll, probably from about 1870-1880 period. She has a lovely shoulder plate head that was hand painted with blonde painted wavy hair and brown glass set eyes. Her bisque is almost white with very rosy cheeks, thin stroked eye brows and lots of painted lashes. A little close mouth with a pretty expression.
She is on a kid body with white lower bisque hands and cloth feet. The body shows age and has been reinforced at the stems where the cloth joined the leather; there is ...

A lovely white, translucent opaline box that is translucent when light shines through and in excellent condition. Fancy metal gold color pretty floral like embossed design mounted hinges are also in very good condition with just very little a bit off as seen in the last photos; the metal is still very nice and shiny. Pretty little trinket box made for the tourist trade, likely France where these are almost always found, mid 19th century when there was a resurgence in grand tour travel for a shor...

Egyptian revival Art Deco style earrings from the designers of Christian Dior, these were a couture item that came from their boutique store, as signed in cartouche on the back under the clips.
Each one is set with rectangular rhinestone paste stones on the top, with the bottom stones being very Avant Garde, one clip set with tiny rhinestones, the mate having a fitting gripoix amber glass stone. This style was a short lived style that experienced some popularity in the 1980s from the major de...
An elegant pair of original Deco earrings with rectangular emerald pastes and small diamond paste stones set in mille-grain type unmarked silver tone metal links, typical of the period for costume jewelry. They measure 2 ¼” long with screw-backs on the reverse. They are almost feather-light to wear.

An usual hinged alabaster box from before the turn of the last century, this petite treasure has a little brass hand design as a knob for opening and closing the box. The clasped hand motif is very Victorian and something we don't often find on these types of boxes. Then there are two almost 'touching hands' brass embellishments on the top of the lid and one little hand on the lip of the lid.
The hand motif was very popular in the Victorian era with two hands to be joined, one of a man and t...
She has the sweetest expression with incredible big blue glass haunting eyes. This artist doll is a very convincing representation of the rare French bebe by Jumeau known as the Triste, or sad face doll. Her pale bisque is a nice contrast to her blue paperweight eyes that have been set, brown feathers brows and painted lashes with a touch of purple shadow on the lids. The artist painted her with pale lips on her open/close mouth, rosy cheeks and she has applied ears (with holes for earrings) jus...
