What a little treasure this bebe is! Such an adorable girl with big blue glass flirty eyes that move from side to side whenever her head is tilted, she has her original mohair eye lashes that really emphasis the flirt with lovely flyaway wispy feathered eyebrows. Her pale bisque is in good condition without any hairlines, cracks or breaks. She was rendered with fantastic high coloring, cherry lips on her open smile showing her little teeth, rosy cheeks, dark brown multi-stroke eyebrow and a deep dimple on her chin. She is on her original French walker body with all original kid tap pants to cover up the metal mechanism that helps her to ‘walk’. The voice box works very well and she squeaks (cries) whenever she is picked up or turned. She measures about 22” tall and is in very good antique condition, no repaint on her, some paint off on the arms and wear to the chest and joints on the arms of the body; the tiniest fleck of bisque off under her right eye which is super hard to see (please view close up photos). No hairlines or other on the bisque head (a bit of mohair on the side where the wig was lifted but it is glued down in front). The hands look to be original but with a color difference. Since she is wearing long sleeves, I don't believe it is an issue. Her original wooden body with the original cryer inside is a little heavier than a compo body, very solid. The back has an opening with the original screen in place so you can easily hear her cry (which she easily does whenever she is picked up or moved). The original eye mechanism is also in place so she flirts very well when her head is moved to either side. The stringing is not too tight so her head can move easily but holds a pose. She is wearing a vintage auburn mohair wig that is perfect for her coloring, and a darling lilac silk button down jacket dress with matching rushed bonnet trimmed in back with rosettes and lace. Under it she has on antique onesie and vintage stiff cotton slip. Old socks and antique leather black shoes complete her outfit. She has successfully completed all testing and has had a sponge bath along with all of her clothing including her wig so she is fresh and ready for play or display. She’s a real show stealer with lots of personality! * Extended layaway payment options are available for higher end items like this jewel via paypal invoicing, take to up 6 months to pay her off in equal monthly installments.
