Round crystals like the pools of light in varying sizes from very small on one end to bigger crystal orbs measuring about 1/2" on the other end. Interestingly, the necklace also has 9 purple glass cubes also varying in size with tiny faceted crystal slides on either end on a bronze type ring chain. The necklace measures 37" or 18 1/2" on either side. It was designed to be simply placed over the head to be worn so there is no clasp.
The crystals show everything upside down when inspected with a loop and are warm to the touch but I do not know if they are natural or man made. The crystals are in very good condition, the purple cubes and sliced crystals do show some minimal wear on the edges on some of them. The clean line and symmetrical structure is what we expect in Deco. The purple cubes are an usual compliment to the typical crystal orb jewelry of the era.
Origin unknown as I could not find any markings, circa 1920-1930.
