Very, very French blue poured glass beads set with French rondels placed between each one, 6 small ball rhinestone spheres with smaller blue glass beads on either side of them and a larger rhinestone roundel sphere in the very front. The blue glass beads are a beautiful ocean sapphire color that are uniformly proportionate placed among the rhinestone rondels for a perfect balance of contrast and color. The necklace is wearable choker length of about 17 1/4”.
A very pretty rhinestone hook clasp for easy closure (so much nicer than the push in type more typical of the period). It is in excellent condition for the age, being from just a bit after the turn of the last century, 1920-1930. It is unsigned but in every way is what we find from the high end French jewelers of the era. Likely not by Gripoix herself, but many times now referred to as Gripoix as she is the designer who made poured glass jewelry popular for some of the important designer houses. The necklace is in excellent vintage condition still on the original stringing; I do not see any wear.
