Here is a very expensive dress that I bought some time ago from another doll collector. It is vintage made of antique fabrics, machine and hand sewn. It is silk floral pattern ruched on the bodice with delicate lace on either side and thin silk velvet ribbon under it which terminate to little bows before the tulle lace drop skirt. The bodice is lined with a thin cotton and under the skirt there is a light pink pleated underskirt. There are 3 snaps in the back for dressing.
I would say it is in very good condition for the age and delicate fabrics used but there is one silk fraying (melting) on the back side on the upper left that I just found when I photographed it. Included with the dress is an antique hat that is similar in coloring made with white pleated fabric all around and a big pink bow about the rim. It is trimmed in lace and the all of it is stiff so it may have been starched. The dress does not have any stains discoloring but the hat shows some discolor aging. Both piece have been hand cleaned and are without odor and my home is smoke free as well.
This dress and hat were made for a doll of about 16” but please check the measurements to confirm that it will work for your doll. I do not know the maker or exact date that it was made but it was several decades ago; I believe the hat is older than the dress but it is a nice companion to it.
