A darling German doll from makers Armand Marseille, deposed for the French market. She has a cute bisque head with set blue glass eyes. No chips or hairlines to the bisque head or shoulder plate. She is on her original kid body with lower cotton legs and lower bisque arms, all in good condition without any chips or leaks; one tiny sewn repair on the knee cease on the side.
She presents beautifully in a gorgeous antique outfit. A sweet expression with open mouth with tiny teeth, feathered eyebrows, little eye lashes and a dimpled chin. Her long dark hair is a replacement wig and works well with her single stroke eyebrow colors, it is glued in place. She is wearing what I believe is her original antique undergarments of a full slip, pantaloons and half slip. Then she has cute pink and white stripped socks that match well with her beautiful sheer antique floral dress.
She also has antique leather shoes (one of the shoes has some damage to the leather on top). She and her wig and all clothing have been hand washed so she is ready for play or display. Measuring at about 21” in height she is signed on lower the shoulder plate AM 4008 DEP, made in Germany which is covered by the leather that was glued back into place.
