She is a littler doll but not quite as small as a mignonette, measuring about 9 ¾” high, she’s got a perfect round Belton head on a flange neck, the head has the two holes on the top where the stringing goes through the top of the head to the body. The little German girl has an adorable expression with wide, blue glass set eyes and a closed mouth, multi-stroke dark eyebrows match nicely to her vintage human hair ringlet wig.
She is dressed in the sweetest light pink dress in the antique style with lots of lace sewn in and matching pantaloons, tiny white socks and black shoes. Then, she has a big ivory and pink bows silk artist doll bonnet over her long ringlet wig that matches up nicely to her lovely little dress. She displays very well and the all of her, including her clothing, has been cleaned so she is without any odors.
Her head is in good condition without any cracks, just a bit of paint that was not added to the very top (she was made this way). Still on the original French wooden 5-piece body which looks like on the shoulders may have been repaired; the right foot and little piece of the top of the arm were glued back on at some point. Of course none of this can be seen unless she is undressed and closely inspected. Her stringing is fine so her arms and legs can be moved without difficulty. *More images are available and can be sent via email request
