The stone is of greyish celadon hue with spots of whitish clouds and is set on the back of a hand mirror in a frame of gilt silver which is worked with a ground of filigree and multi colour enamel decoration...

A Chinese jade libation cup of pale green hue with a flash of russet, carved in the shape of a peach and standing on a five petal support. The outside has scrolling foliage and the handle is formed as a flower spray with a flat reticulated top surface. An excellent example of 16/17 century lapidary art and in excellent condition. It comes with its own custom made wooden stand. size: 10 cm long

A highly desirable Chinese jade coup, shaped as a lotus leaf with flower blossoms decorating the handle and body. The stone is of an even tone with a slight hint of russet. This is a very attractive composition of the "caged" style and measures 5 1/2inches ( 14 cm) wide. In excellent condition. Age: Ming 17 C.

A Chinese box of grey celadon jade and rectangular shape with rounded corners. The body is very thinly carved , resembling the Mughal manner and the cover is delicately incised with a bird in a tree. Elegant in its simplicity and precision, it typifies the 18 C. lapidary art on small jade objects. Age: 18 C. size: 2 7/10 inches x 1 7/10 inches x 3/5 inch high when closed. A dated Chinese glass snuff bottle, overlaid with a decoration of flowers and insects.This documentary bottle bears the Bing Shen year corresponding to 1836 and its fine and detailed lapidary work makes it a highly desirable object. size: 2 1/4 inches high (6 cm). Age; 1836. condition : very good, a small section of the raised coloured ring at the base is missing. The blue glass cover is lacking its spoon.

A pair of fine Chinese coconut cups lined and mounted with silver. The body is carved in detail with "shou" symbols, precious objects, ribbons, prunus flowers etc. all against a ground of geometrical pattern.The base stamped with Chinese characters. A Chinese mother of pearl box of canted rectangular shape and mounted with silver edgings. The cover is delicately and minutely engraved with a scene of figures at leisure in a pavilion surrounding a vacant shield. The sides bear panels of very finely worked flowers with geometric borders. The box is in excellent condition and superb quality craftsmanship. Age: early 19 C. size: 7.5cm x 6.3cm x 3cm high.

A Chinese jade vase, carved as a lotus leaf with a flower in one corner and a ribbon tying the leaf and its coiled trailing stalk forming the base. The composition is very attractive, the body is quite thinly carved and the stone is of celadon hue. A high quality example of Qing lapidary arts, it measures 14 cm ( 5 1/2 inches) high. It comes with its own custom made wooden base. Age; 19 C. condition: excellent.

A Chinese silver tankard, applied onlaid with a continuous decoration of a phoenix, birds of paradise and storks amongst flowering trees, chrysanthemums and prunus. It has a hammered background, a vacant shield and double-walled interior. The decoration is in high relief, creating a three dimensional sculptural surface and amazingly in an excellent condition. A Chinese jade carving of a mythical beast and cob on its back. The stone is of medium celadon hue with a few darker spots as seen in the images, the quality of the carving is fine and detailed, especially in the head area. A Chinese three piece tea and coffee set decorated with a raised dragon stretching right around the bulbous body of each item.
