Early 20th century This necklace is from the Konyak or Wangchu tribes or sub-groups Nagaland, North-Eastern India. There are over twenty subgroups who make up the Naga Ethnic Group. Made of large glass beads in a rich cornelian color, cowrie shells and a carved hardwood pendant symbolic of human sacrifice. Overall shows great wear of use.
