This Cultural Revolution poster depicts an innocent image of a kid holding a bucket of grains and trying to fight against the hungry geese. Titled “Each grain goes to the Government”, this propaganda the central government’s policy during the Cultural Revolution that all grains farmers produced need to be turned into the government for “fair” distribution. This also coincides with Mao’s vision of “People’s Village” where everything are collected and then distributed evenly across the board.
