The most famous, and one of the rarest posters from the Cultural Revolution is this poster, titled “Chairman Mao going to An Yuan”. Stated in fine prints, this poster belonged to the year of 1968, 4th edition. Created jointly by all of the universities in Beijing, and led by author “Liu Chuan Hua”, this poster is considered one of the finest artwork came out of Cultural Revolution by Chinese political critics, despite the strong propaganda message. On this poster, in small prints, the following description was written: “During the fall of 1921, our great leader and teacher Chairman Mao went to An-Yuan, and it ignited the revolutionary flame.” Created by Beijing University, with Liu Chun Hua being the lead creator. Has some minor tear and wear on the edges. Size: 15" by 20".
