Wang Hong Wen, the youngest, the most promising member of the Cultural Revolution group, and a key member of Gang of Four, was shown in this poster, giving a report at the 10th People's Congress Representative meeting regarding the revision of Chinese Communist Party rules and regulations. Rose from being a revolution committee member in Shanghai, Wang Hong Wen was a worker's son and was well spoken and charismatic. He became the heir apparent to Mao after Lin Biao incident. His political career, though very promising at the time, was short lived. He was sentenced to life imprisonment as a key member of the Gang of Four and died at age 57 in prison. Very few images of Wang Hong Wen surfaced in the market due to his criminal status. This is a very rare find. 20" x 15".
