From the first quarter of the 20th cenury is this Japanese glass kerosene oil lamp in a metal stand. The burner is marked the Kinzoku & Co. and the chimney is marked K.G.F., Made in Japan. the The globe is frosted around the collar and has a chip on the end that sits in the metal shade holder. The metal shade holder has been stretched to accommodate the globe, perhaps this globe is not the original one. The 5 spoked base is made of iron while the pole and lamp holder is made of either copper or brass. The lamp tripod holder extends from the collar down into curley cues which are welded to the pole. The pole is attached to the base with a wire - the entire stand is very stable.
