Pair of fine wine goblets. Thin porcelain beautifully decorated in multi-color enamels and gold. The feet are decorated with flowers in gold over red enamel. The upper rim of each is decorated with a flower border on the outside in gold over enamels, and with a shippo motif on the inside in gold over red.
On the outside of each goblet are three fan-shaped cartouches, they enclose a sennin (sennin Tsuru with cranes and sennin Kinko with carp), a spray of chrysanthemums, and a pine tree. Each cup is different. On the inside of one is a mountain landscape. One in fall, under a full moon, the other in winter with snow.
Each has on the bottom of the foot a mark in gold over red: Kutani.
