17th-18thc hand carved hard wood capital or column top from a half column. Beautiful design with acanthus type leafs and flowers with traces of colors . The capital is very very aged on the back the front is stable and solid the back not so much . 5 pieces are available but the price is for each. Size w 14" d 10 " h 13" pieces may vary but near identical in form and condition from the same matching set.

We bought this and another we are listing in the late 1990 in Los Angeles , the seller didn't remember the artist name but said the artist was an early Sci Fi artist . the painting is unsigned in good condition though could use a cleaning.
