Japanese Buddhist Temple Toro - Lantern in Bronze , wide base with a total of three parts , size H 18" by 7" diameter.

Continental Ornate Brass Candlestick in the Classical Taste , well cast fine details and was altered to also take lamp wiring. Size H 103/4" base 5" square.

19th c Meiji Dynasty Bronze altar Temple Toro - Lantern in Bronze , heavy well made and gives off wonderful light . Collected in the Japanese country side in the 90s. Size H 18" diameter 7" and it has 4 pieces. Buddhist altar lamp. 4 parts top near finial slightly bent.

The tazza features the most complex pierced design featuring decorative foliate scrolls, wave-shapes and four figures. Each of the figures is different but bears a distinctly nautical theme. The first male figure reclines on a chair of waves and cat tails and holds a trident; the adjacent female figures ride various sea-beasts while one holds a downward-pointing spear. The final male figure holds a weapon and rides a giant fish. The dish sits on a large iron base that bears a complementar...

The King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry (KOYLI) was a regiment of the British Army. It officially existed from 1881 to 1968, but its predecessors go back to 1755.
