Antique ancestor figure from Papua New Guinea from the lower sepik region, a standing male nude figure the eyes covered with shell and at one time a skirt and raffia through the nose , this piece is mounted but before mounting we could see that this piece was once part of a post and had fire scorch marks. Old tribal piece not a tourist replica. Size 31" by 8"

Wonderful pair of black painted 16th c Elizabethan era solid brass finial figures depicting men in period costume and holding swords with shields ,condition is excellent with minor wear. Size H 3.5" each
