Rare Silla Korean Pottery Urn with perforated lid
Rare Silla Korean Pottery pedestal urn with perforated lid and a cylinder detail . The body is made of a deep red colored clay with a grey almost burnished slip finish, the lid same finish but a charcoal black ceramic body with slip finish . The lid has been repaired from 3 pieces other wise near perfect. A wonderful piece in a unique form. There is some kind of residu as seen in images, perhaps to seal the piece. Size 13" by 6.75"
