1918-1925 Rare Cubist dore bronze of a standing nude cubist woman with her hands to her face . Signed AP Made in France stamp From Meuble Installer Decore Paris by A. Petit co owner and designer of D.I.M. Paris. The location is now the Hotel Cloaisse Paris. This wonderful bronze on a beautiful black and butterscotch marble base is 3.75" tall or 4.75" including the base.
There are 3 very similar pieces sold in the past, a near matching "male nude" figure sold at Bonham's London lot #373 on Sep 19th 2016 this figure has a round base and was intended as a car mascot at 13cm tall another at Bonham's London same sale lot # 370 " Draped Nude in the Wind" 16cm also a car mascot. And last one sold on first Dibbs . 2 chips to the corners of the base the bronze slight tilt but as made condition .
