Gorgeous French antique silk dress with silk covered straw bonnet , has beautiful and typical French details with " Que de Paris" as back and will fit perfect for french or german doll about around 20" ( 50 cm )..... for Jumeau , Bru , Steiner , Eden Bebe ....
It is most hand sewn of rare cream silk sateen which has wonderful colorfull woven flowers inside the silk..... superbly colors like pink , blue , light green and red , in combination of pink silk sateen and beautiful hand embroidery lace.
The dress is in typical French style with small pleated front of pink sateen ornate with hand embroidery lace. It has two longer sides which has silk cord trim edged at front and side.
The dress has 3/4 long sleeves with pretty cuffs and lace ruffled parts. The back side is also very pretty and elegant with " Que de Paris" ..... longer back part , a small hope skirt cage inside hold the bustle always in perfect form.
Silk sateen pleated middle here and silk bows and cord decoration at wrist of the back. The beautiful skirt is from pink silk sateen covered with rich hand embroidery lace , at back also covered with the beautiful colorfull cream silk which goes over the bustle.
The complete dress is most hand sewn and fully lined inside with soft ivory cotton and on pretty gauze slip with lace hem which look´s under the silk skirt.
Finally you can close the dress at back with hooks and metal eyes .....
To the dress belongs a gorgeous antique straw hat which is beautiful covered inside with pleated pink silk sateen , ornate with hand embroidery lace and outside very pretty ornate with the same pink silk, lace and silk ribbons.
Finally ornate with pretty silk flowers bouquet at one side.....
Stunning one of a kind couture outfit in generally excellent condition of early 19th. century silk and lace .... you will never find such the same again !!!!!!
