~~~ Unusually Elegant French Bisque Poupee by Jumeau ~~~

Beautiful gentle expression 16 " ( 41 cm ) all original bisque poupee by Jumeau from period around 1870/75 , has all perfect condition and with splendid eyes , lovely pale bisque and painting.... finally waering with superb two piece muslin afternoon costume.

Lovely quality pale bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate , has gorgeous blue enamel inset eyes with dark outer rim . Dark eyeliner with painted lashes and brush-stroked arched brows and closed mouth with fine accented lips and full cheeks . Pierced ears with earrings and wonderful ash blonde mohair over cork pate ! Original French kid poupee body with shapely torso and gusset-jointing at shoulders .... elbows .... hips and knees , stitched and separate fingers .

France around 1870/75 by Emile Jumeau ...... Has complete generally excellent condition of bisque , free of damage , repair , hairline . Generally excellent condition of kid poupee body ..... only one tiny leather patches at one arm....otherwise very clean and sturdy .

Gorgeous wearing with most elegand two piece sheer muslin afternoon bustle gown , set of under garment with stocking and helled booties.
