Very rare 4 3/4" " ( 12 cm )early fireplace fan for French Poupee with pretty hand carved bone handle .
Fireplace fans were very popular in early 19th. century as facial heat - shade and protection.
All original antique one has very nice carved bone handle with oval shaped metal frame filled with ecru silk which are most beautiful hand painted of color full flowers bouquet in pink , blue ,green and more .....
A luxury and very rare to find accessory for your fashion doll .... like Huret , Rohmer , Barrois , Jumeau and at other pretty Mademoilelle....
Has generally excellent condition from France circa 1865 / 70 ...
