Gorgeous French Premier Bisque Bebe by Gaultier

Rare early period cabinet size 15" ( 38 cm ) French Bebe´s by Gaultier with Blockletter mark, a most beautiful and rare premire Bebe by this company wearing lovely clothing . Has gorgeous expression and is an eye-catcher for everybody and each good doll collection !!!

Generally excellent early little block letter marking Bebe by Gaultier ... France circa 1878 .... in lovely small cabinet size with excellent quality of pale pressed bisque and softly blushed complexion, amber brown inset enamel eyes and original fur wig ( missing cork pate ).

Lovely pale pressed bisque socket head of best quality with brown enamel glass paperweight inset eyes with dark eyeliner , mauve blushed eye shadow , long painted curly lashes and widely feathered brows .Closed mouth with upturned kiss lips which are fine accented and outlined , has implied modeled tongue and an funny dimple chin , pierced ears with earrings and her wonderful original wig !!

Head mark at back : F. 5 G. (( block letter ))

Here bisque head is generally excellent in condition ..... free of damage , hairline chip or repair !!!

She has her original French composition and wooden eight - loose - ball body with original body finish and straight wrists by Jumeau . (( Heads by Gaultier could be found on different French body´s )) . Body condition are good to age , note not disturbing color refresh at her hands and feet....

Wearing very beautiful white pique costume with matching bonnet , under skirt , stocking and replaced shoes.

A stunning cabinet size early Bebe ..... a treasure and must have for each collection .
