This enamelware match holder or "allumettes" box, circa 1930's, has a lovely rose garland pattern. Definite wear from age & use, areas of enamel are chipped off around the edges & some spots have been painted over white, but this match box still retains its original charm. Marked on the bottom, "Ste Austria, B. Freres" this pieces was made in Austria for the French market. Measures approx 5-1/2 inches across, 3 inches deep & 7 inches to highest point. Ready to hang in your kitchen or near the fireplace!
