Antique Japanese Ko Tansu made from a deep red chestnut wood (Kuri), with a black lacquered front frame, three large drawers with iron hirute handles mounted on carved backplates and a large center iron lockplate with pierced heart designs, and two small side drawers with kan (ring) pulls on flower shaped backplates.

Antique Chinese Canton plate with famille rose enamel scene of courtesans with their attendants, with a large altar to Budai. A gilt enamel censors and offerings lay before him on the altar table. The rim is decorated with chrysanthemums, and tiny scenes related to the main depiction. Mark of Kangxi in cobalt within a double ring, with three floral scrolling vine motifs. Ching Dynasty, dates from 1875-1908. Has original purchase receipt from November 30th 1991 for 15,650 HK Dollars.

Antique Japanese Yonezawa two-section lacquered tansu. Made from Kiri wood (paulownia) front with Sugi (cedar) wood frame Its drawers open with iron mokko/melon style handles, and with large, round lock plates incised with kiri leaf mon as well as fan-shaped corner hardware. Side lockbox has two small drawers within.
Original Charming lacquer finish.

A dark blue hemp fabric forms the base of these kote sleeve guards. The upper area is covered in iron chain mail with pair of double gourd plates, crest mon, gilt iron plates, throughout the kote. The shoulder edge has three hinge plates to fashion to the Do armor. Unusually mounted on a custom black iron stand.

Antique Japanese solid ebony hardwood cha tansu, for storing and displaying tea ceremony articles. The top of the piece has a wide compartment behind two sliding panel doors, with two open shelves below. Its sides are carved with a reticulated honeycomb design. The bottom of the chest has two Persimmon burl sliding panels opening to a lovely shelved interior with foliate carved paneling and two small drawers.

A charming candlestick figure of Ashinaga, a playful spirit in Japanese folklore with incredibly long legs. His counterpart, Tenaga, is the long-armed spirit who would ride on Ashinaga's shoulders and, working together, they would catch many fish from the ocean. Ashinaga is hand-carved with adorable features.

Chinese antique small display shelf with stand, made of hong-mu. A staggered shelf in the middle breaks up the square area. The front and sides of the unit is carved with delicate lined details and cusped edges. On each side of both the top and bottom shelf is a little window (four total) and the back is open. The underside of the base has a black lacquer panel painted with a butterfly and chrysanthemums.
