Chinese jade carving in the form of a tripod censer. The lid and handles contain superb intricate carvings of scrolled leaf like patterns with flower buds set in between the scrolled leaves.

Beautiful antique Chinese porcelain pair of roosters with polychrome glaze. Very nice incised detail. Created in a naturalistic style. Each rooster stands on one foot with the other raised close to its body atop a brown glazed tree trunk. Age: Qing Dynasty (18th century - 19th century) Size: 15.5" height x 9.5" length.

Chinese hand scroll portraying a hunting scene attributed to, Jin Tingbiao (~1767). Four hunters with four horses are gathered in this scene either preparing a hunting party or finishing one. Views of hunting, known as shoulie wenwutu were first seen from the Yuan dynasty and succeeding dynasties continued to paint various renditions. Comes in a beautifully carved box. Antique Japanese kuruma tansu (wheeled storage chest), the front is keyaki (zelkova) wood with sliding panels with horizontal slats, interior has a full width shelf and two small drawers on the right side, the bottom portion has three drawers and a locking bar (with key); one full width drawer and two smaller drawers side by side, beautiful original lacquer finish, heavy hand forged iron hardware.

Antique Chinese hardwood table carved with incredible handcarved flowering plum blossoms details on branches that crawl up the table legs. The table top is inlaid with a piece of stunning white grey marble.

Late 19th Century

Chinese antique hardwood cabinet with interior shelving. The cabinet doors are carved with pine trees and bamboo. The lower egister is carved with a rectilinear design. The bottom has a fan, a bat, and a lychee branch.

Early 20th Century

It measures 70" tall 35" wide 16" deep.

Antique Chinese Huanghuali two shelf stand. The shelves are tiered, the wood is beautiful huanghuali wood. Dates from the early 20th century. It measures, lower shelf: 17" X 13.5" x 27" upper shelf 13.5"x 13.5"x 37" overall: 29" wide 13.5" deep 37" tall.

Chinese pair of moon viewing chairs, made of huang-huali hardwood with dramatic grain. Carved in faux bamboo. Each chair handcrafted for a comfortable reclining position and matched with a slide out foot rest. The joints show sign of shrinkage and patina of its age and condition.

An interesting square porcelain brush pot with a long inscription of the Chu Shi Biao composed by the 3rd century strategist, Zhuge Liang. The inscription makes the argument that the state of Shu Han must fight against Cao Wei. The calligrapher at the end signs and dates the piece: The 23rd Year of Kangxi, (inscribed by) Wen Fang. Beautiful carved white jade figure depicting one of the 18 Lohan (arhats), sitting with arm resting on one knee, leaning against one shoulder is a gnarled staff with peaches and a bat on top, wonderfully detailed carving especially to the man's face and an earring that is carved to hang free, Republic Period. Size: 6" high

Tall Chinese hardwood cabinet in two sections, elaborately carved all over with scenes of eight dragons in light color wood on dark hardwood ground carved with swirling clouds, rocks and waves. The sides of the cabinet are also made of dark hardwood and carved with scrolling key fret motif. Brass hardware is incised with matching key fret and chimera designs. c. 1950. Total size: 86 " high x 35 1/4" wide x 15 3/4" deep (bottom section is 66 1/2" high. top section is 19 1/2" high)

A wonderful and detailed antique Chinese box with a detailed Jade carving with motifs of melons and the character of happiness set in the middle. Beautiful Chinese brush washer carved in the form of two peaches , carved from a piece of lovely pale agate with yellow striations, intricate details of curling leaves and tiny bats inside the large peach and on the outside of the small peach, the bottom is carved with more little bats, the brush washer sits on a wooden stand carved in the shape of entwined lotus leaves. Mid 20th century. Size of agate: 5 1/4" wide

Ivory satin robe, decorated with butterflies and flowers in various shades of pink, blue, and yellows, black satin detailing with cranes and butterflies, edged in deep blue. Gorgeous deep blue sleeves depict a dragon and phoenix coming into confrontation.
Chinese dragons represent masculinity and darkness while the phoenix (or feng-huang) represents femininity and light. The sleeves have an interior lining of bright green satin.

Antique set of two Japanese flower vase known as an usubata, used in the art of ikebana or flower arranging, made from mixed metals. They both have square tops with a swirling wind design blowing silver and gold leaves about, oriental designs along the top rim, and beautiful flower designs along the outer rim.
