Beautifully finished antique chinese two section medicine chest from the 19th century, circa 1900. There are 24 small drawers. The drawers each have two sections and are numbered on the back. There are two large drawers that are divided into three sections. They are fitted with round brass drawers pulls. The front is faced with jumu wood. It measures 37" wide 66" tall 18.75" deep.

Beautiful black birds perched over a chrysanthemum bush. There is an inscription in the upper left corner and a cartouche. Sumi and light colors on silk. Mid Ching dynasty (1644-1911), circa 1800. It measures 12" wide 32" long, overall 16" wide by 55.5" long.

Antique Japanese small sterling silver box with handle, hinged doors on front decorated with incised design of lady's cart, sides decorated with blossoming plum branches, interior has four small wooden drawers with velvet lining and silver moko shaped drawer pulls, sterling mark on back, Meiji Period. Antique Japanese single iron stirrup with scrolling vine or karakusa with chrysanthemum and plum pattern gilt damascene inlay on iron and mother of pearl or aogai decoration in the interior. Age: Mid-Edo period 18th century. Size: Length: 10" Width:5.2" Height: 10.5".

Bronze covered hibachi by Soho Sunosuke. Bronze lid with image of Chinese lions and peonies surrounded with a karakusa or scroll vine pattern openwork border on the side. The body of the hibachi contain metalwork still lives of herons, mandarin ducks, quails, and pheasants. Bottom of the hibachi contains the signature of Soho Sunosuke. Signature reading: Soho. Chinese antique molded cricket cage, with a dense floral pattern with a shuangxi, double happiness, emblem at the neck, with a lid pierced with a butterfly and flower design. Size: 6 1/4" High. Good condition, Republic Period, early 20th century.

A sublime Korean celadon bowl with a flower and scrolling vine motif imprinted on the inside of the bowl bordered with an incised line below the rim. The grey green glaze displays a dense web or craze of lines. Korean celadon wares have been favored by the Korean court and by the Japanese, who call it Korai Seiji. A large antique Meiji period Kutani plate decorated with motifs of peonies set in the center of the plate surrounded by gold scrolling vines and stylized flowers. The pink peonies are done in an unglazed-like style while the blue peonies are done with glaze. The underside of the plate is decorated with scrolling vines set in a green background.
