Antique Himalayan tall yak butter lamp. Made of hand hammered copper with gilt bronze applied details depicting Buddhist auspicious symbols. The butter would have melted and burned for a measured amount of time depending on the size and the amount in the lamp. A small hole in the bottom of the cup would have held a sort of wick to provide a long lasting light. Overall repouse details are in great detail. Original patina.

Pair of Japanese iron tsuba (sword guard), mounted on a stand, dating from the 17th/19th century with Hidden Christian motifs. The first tsuba composed of three iron interlocking circles, the image of the Cross can be seen. The second iron tsuba has a very delicate wire design in the interior representing the Crown of Thorns, also has a cross in the overall pattern.

Rare Japanese Kutani porcelain figure of mother and child, individual work of art charmingly depicted with mother is kneeling and holding her child with focused attention after bath with bright reddish and raised floral design on towel wrapped at her feet and with hair held up with gold comb. Signed at bottom "Kutani" in kanji and with circular impressed mark. Good condition.

Antique Japanese Bizen-yaki Beckoning Cat known as a Maneki Neko, with left paw raised for inviting happiness and welcoming friends and family. Incised signature on back dating to the Second Year of Genbun, 1737, also shop name of Yamaichi. Good condition.

Floral designer intertwine creating interesting detail. Complete with original hardware . Pair of hinged doors unlock an open to give access into each lantern. Original patina consistent with age.

A low Japanese Negoro incense table with many layers of black, red, and translucent lacquer pigment. Naturally worn finish consistent with age an use. European style hand carved leg and foot. Original hardware of hand forged iron. Traditionally used as a low stand to raise up an incensor.

Antique Choba Tansu (merchant's chest) from the Tohoku area of Northern Japan. Made with Kiri (Paulownia) wood front and Sugi (Cryptomeria) wood frame and interior. Antique Japanese uma-jirushi, flag standard for battle. This uma-jirushi is a large inverted gourd surrounded by smaller gourds. The great daimyo, Hideyoshi Toyotomi (famous for being the second unifier of Japan) made the upside down gourd his uma-jirushi symbol.
