Antique Himalayan tall yak butter lamp. Made of hand hammered copper with gilt bronze applied details depicting Buddhist auspicious symbols. The butter would have melted and burned for a measured amount of time depending on the size and the amount in the lamp. A small hole in the bottom of the cup would have held a sort of wick to provide a long lasting light. Overall repouse details are in great detail. Original patina.

Pair of Japanese iron tsuba (sword guard), mounted on a stand, dating from the 17th/19th century with Hidden Christian motifs. The first tsuba composed of three iron interlocking circles, the image of the Cross can be seen. The second iron tsuba has a very delicate wire design in the interior representing the Crown of Thorns, also has a cross in the overall pattern.

Rare Japanese Kutani porcelain figure of mother and child, individual work of art charmingly depicted with mother is kneeling and holding her child with focused attention after bath with bright reddish and raised floral design on towel wrapped at her feet and with hair held up with gold comb. Signed at bottom "Kutani" in kanji and with circular impressed mark. Good condition.

Antique Japanese uma-jirushi, flag standard for battle. This uma-jirushi is a large inverted gourd surrounded by smaller gourds. The great daimyo, Hideyoshi Toyotomi (famous for being the second unifier of Japan) made the upside down gourd his uma-jirushi symbol. Antique Japanese netsuke in the form of a fudog. Carved of boxwood, the fudog leans on a ball. With eyes wide and mouth open, his mane flows down his back. He curls his body around the ball, gripping it in three paws while balancing on his back leg. Age and use have added an appealing smooth quality of the netsuke.

An antique Japanese Ikebana basket woven in a rope-like technique to create a classic design similar to a textured Macrame weave. The shape is an inverted cone with a splayed foot and flat weave. The wrapped handle creates a crescent-like opening and the body features a cross hatched undulating weaving design.

This is an antique two section Korean Nong made of a hardwood with beautiful Maple wood accents. Original Nickel hardware with four drawers along the upper part of each section. There are bat handles representing happiness and medallions behind the lower handles signifying a wedding. The four carved panels on the upper half display two scenes of deer searching for the magic mushroom Lingzhi and two scenes of a Phoenix next to the Paulownia tree.

Large antique Japanese Buddhist temple textile made of green silk and woven with gold gilt-paper weft (ginran or kinren) in a design of dragon medallions floating amongst billowing clouds.
