Antique Japanese kogo, or incense box, used in traditional tea ceremony. The box is squared in shape with the lid ornately done in maki-e gold and red lacquer chrysanthemums, resembling the front cover of a story book with the revealed inner "page" done in silver. The interior of the box and base are done in nashiji gold flake lacquer, sometimes called pear skin for resembling the texture of the Asian pear.

An elegant pair of Chinese monochrome yellow peking glass gu vases with relief carvings of waves, archaic scrolling serpents, one vase with a pair of flying dragons and the other vase with many auspicious Buddhist symbols - a lotus, a treasure vase, a pair of fish, the endless mandala knot, and the wheel of Dharma. The foot of each vase is marked with a four character cartouche.

Antique Sino-Tibetan cloisonne enamel bronze container in the form of a kapala or skull cup. The lid has a four prong vajra finial, and is decorated with intricate enamel design of floral scrolls, lotuses, waves, and four points around the vajra finial. The container's interior is done in red enamel, and the base is done in white enamel with a red cranial fissure line to emulate a skull. With carved wooden base.

Japanese two section mizuya (kitchen tansu for storage). Constructed of Hinoki (cypress) wood frame with Sugi (cedar) wood, original dark finish. The top section holds a compartment behind pair of sliding panels with Keyaki (zelkova) wood details, open work carving and wire for ventilation. Next to this is a larger compartment with sliding panels with vertical iron studded slats and Keyaki hardwood insert. An Antique Bulgarian belt with a large, brass buckle that is embellished with intricate damascene carvings of flowers and a raised portion of double domes topped with an image of a woman's profile at it's center. The main buckle is framed by to lesser domes. The buckle has a hook hinge in the back and is secured with a chain and pin closure. The belt is of embroidered silk on a leather background with interspersed double stacked brass tubes.

An antique Japanese Choba (merchant) Tansu made of solid keyaki (zalkova) wood with Burl keyaki sliding doors. The upper portion of the Tansu has a sliding door with interior shelf. The lower portion has 5 drawers with iron hardware locks. Matsumoto is a special city located in Nagano Prefecture, Japan.

An antique pair of Chinese vases with lingzhi mushroom outcrops on a craggy rock platform. The lingzhi mushroom is a symbol of longevity and health. The platform could display an object. These wares originated out of kilns in the Shiwanzhen sub-district within the city of Foshan, going as far back as the Neolithic period. Each vase is pigmented with custard yellow and aubergine.

Antique Tibetan painted traveling trunk (also known as a Yak butter trunk) used to store and transport religious yak butter sculptures and artifacts. The main image shows a flaming jewel while the surrounding painting shows an octagonal foliated grid pattern. The fractal design shows an infinite repetition of the Mandala shapes and patterns. A rare antique Japanese temple carving of a mythical sea turtle swimming among the rough ocean waves. Hand carved from one solid piece of Kuwanoki (Mulberry) wood, its three dimensional deep relief was carved on both sides. With large wisps of sea algae trailing on the back of its shell, the Kame (turtle) is a Japanese symbol of longevity signifying 10,000 years of long life.
