Antique Japanese Buddhist Temple hanging lantern, made of ornately cut copper in a scrolling motif with raised copper buddhist symbols, hexagonal shaped, inscription on top, Taisho Period. Size: 15" high x 16" wide

Antique Chinese fine and extremely ornate carved altar cabinet with mother of pearl inlay, pierced carved with dragons in swirling clouds, center panel with family of three fu-dogs, claw feet, mother of pearl scenes of figures, flowers and buddhist symbols, bone carved details, sides carved with flowers in vases, hardwood, 18th/ 19th century. Total size: 43" high (40 1/4" high to table top) x 52 1/2" wide x 20 1/2" deep (18" deep table top).

Chinese small ruyi scepter, intricately carved with entwining branches of fruiting pomegranate tree, c1950 vintage. Size: 6 3/4" long.

Antique Japanese large and deeply carved ranma depicting three sages (from left to right): Le-tieguai (with the iron crutch) , Zheng si yuan (with the tiger) and Gama Sennin (with the frog). There is much of the original paint still intact. Wonderfully carved with great detail and expression. Most likely from a Shinto temple. Edo Period (18th century). Size: 27" high x 87" long x 3" deep. (very heavy!)

Beautiful antique pair of gilt copper repouse snow lions, nice patina and traces of paint especially on the faces, each lion is standing on hind legs and holding conch shells in upraised paws, wonderful detail, Himalayan, 18th/19th century Size of each: 13" high x 14 1/2" wide

Beautiful Japanese bronze figure of a seated Jurojin, the god of wisdom and longevity. He is seated holding a fan and leans on a recumbent deer. Wonderful lines and use of color patina. Signed Tokumitsu. Taisho Period. With hardwood stand. Size: 8 1/2" high

Chinese carving of a recumbent horse with head over his shoulder, beautifully carved of very dark green jade, sitting on wooden base also carved to look like a rock. Mid 20th century. Total size with stand: 5 1/2" high x 7" long x 4" deep Size of horse only: 3 3/4" high x 6" long x 2 1/2" deep

Wonderful rare Japanese fully articulated dragon, made of silver with gold eyes, Myochin School, underside of his signed Myochin, comes with black lacquer stand, Meiji/Taisho Period. minor repair work (some pins have been replaced). Size of dragon: 31" long x 10" high

Chinese clock made of brass with cloisonne, six cloisonne columns, on the front behind glass is the clock face and a small oval shaped painting of a country scene with a lake and mountains with trees in the foreground, on either side of the clock are painted grecian style figures, a small oval plaque on the back is stamped with "Made in People's Republic of China", size 12" high. Size: 11 1/2" high x 8 3/4" wide x 4 1/2" deep.

Antique Chinese cloisonne clock, made of bronze and inset all over with beautiful cloisonne, oval shape base and top, stands on 6 feet, surrounded with 10 cloisonne columns (5 on each side), original glass doors on front and back, clock face painted with tiny flower garlands, glass door in back reveals pendulum and mechanism which still seems to function smoothly, c. 1900. Size: 18 1/2" high x 13" wide x 6" deep.

Antique Japanese choba tansu (merchant's chest), made of kiri (paulownia) wood, iron hardware, from the Mikuni area of Japan, Meiji Period, (1868-1912). Size: 41" high x 36" wide x 16 3/5" deep.

Antique Japanese single iron stirrup with scrolling vine or karakusa with chrysanthemum and plum pattern gilt damascene inlay on iron and mother of pearl or aogai decoration in the interior. Age: Mid-Edo period 18th century. Size: Length: 10" Width:5.2" Height: 10.5".

Bronze covered hibachi by Soho Sunosuke. Bronze lid with image of Chinese lions and peonies surrounded with a karakusa or scroll vine pattern openwork border on the side. The body of the hibachi contain metalwork still lives of herons, mandarin ducks, quails, and pheasants. Bottom of the hibachi contains the signature of Soho Sunosuke. Signature reading: Soho. Pair of Qilin, a Chinese mythical beast sometimes associated with giraffes or Camelopard. Polychrome glaze on clay, with fine detailing. Bottom of the pair contains a seal reading: Qianlong Nianzhi which would be from the mid to late 18th century. However in reality the piece was made during the 19th century. Size: Length: 4" Width: 2.5" Height:10.25".

Antique Chinese carved jade toggle in the form of a pea pod, carved of very pale green almost white jade with a hint of orange rind. Republic Period. Size: 3 1/2" long
