Chinese framed painting of a mother donkey feeding her young, while a third donkey turns away in an opposite direction. Signed "Huang Zhou" (1925-1997) with two red chops.

Japanese 6-Panel byobu folding screen, with painting of a flowering wheat field under the full moon. The screen's paper hinges are done in gold gofun paper. Excellent condition, very presentable well suited for the times. The screen bears elements related to the Shijo School, hand-signed signature, with two red chops, attributed to Shiokawa Bunrin (1808-1877).

Full 6 panel Japanese screen painting of a sweeping landscape with mountains, low hills and a lake with Mt Fuji rising in the background. Around the edges of the lake are clustered tiny houses. Painted in light mineral colors and ink on paper with gold flecks.

Large framed Chinese painting on silk ground, of two white herons crouching beneath lotuses and reeds, as a small hummingbird flies into frame from the top lefthand side. The painting is displayed within a bamboo style gilt hardwood edge frame.

Chinese landscape scroll painting, with accompanying calligraphy poem about different ways to escape the Summer heat, such as resting beneath a willow tree on the edge of the lake. Signed Huang Jun Bi (1898-1991), dated Summer of 1981. With three red chops.

Antique Japanese pair of hardwood fusuma door panels with black lacquer frames. The doors are hand-painted with a rooster, a hen, and their chicks with a bamboo grove background, accented with gold flakes. Each door has wire mounts in back to be hung for a wall display.

Japanese Nanga sumi-e ink scroll painting on silk depicting a scene of two men in a boat entitled "Water Cloud Mountain Pavilion". A scholar and a young man sit in a boat, the scholar has an open book, the young man, a pole. Between them is a handled box. A jagged out cropping of rock rises from the water where stunted trees stretch their branch over the water. River grasses and rocks fill the foreground, a few birds fly over the pair in the boat, and in the distance is a faint outline ...

Antique Chinese scroll painting, with Daoist monks, monkeys, and deer underneath a gnarled peach tree. A young Daoist monk holding a bamboo staff outstretches his arms as a helpful monkey drops peaches to him, while an immortal man rests calmly against a tree branch, observing two small deer. The imagery of the deer, the monkeys, and the peaches are representative of prosperity and longevity. Signed with two red chops.

Korean antique 2-panel screen painting depicting two tigers. The charming style of this original painting is indicative of traditional Korean folk tigers and yet, they of a finer quality. The artist paid close attention to detail including every hair of each tiger. Wide toothy mouths and round, wild eyes project a playful ferociousness. Painted in mineral colors and ink on paper. Each panel is signed by the artist.

Antique Chinese scroll painting of a realistic looking pile of old fan cards, one of them with the image of Quan Yin. This style is called "trompe l'oeil". Signed "Lei, Tian Yun" with red chop, and calligraphy dedicating the piece in Hong Kong. Circa 1960
