Three antique framed written fragments of different sutras from the Tripiṭaka in Chinese translation.
The one on the right is a passage from the Sutra of the Buddha Proclaiming the Names of Buddhas, probably a Chinese translation of the Bhadrakalpika Sūtra. Closest translation:
Śāriputra, passing through a hundred buddhalands, there is a world called Virtue, and there a Buddha called the Arhat of Sunlight Radiance, Samyaksaṃbuddha, is now expounding on the Dharma...

Antique Chinese scroll painting of a mountain landscape. Rolling hills spotted with trees. A scholarly figure looks out from his hut. A stream flows down the hillside and under a small bridge. All around is a lush growth of various types of plants and trees. A painting with seal of Zhang Daqian (1899–1983) inspired by a landscape painting by Kun Can (1612–1674). Age early 20th century.

Antique Chinese scroll painting by the artist, Ting Hsi Chiang (1669-1732). A pair of colorful kingfisher birds fly amidst the blossoming branches of a white peony bush and delicate sprays of white and yellow daisies Painted in ink and mineral colors on silk. There is calligraphy and a signature with seal in the upper left hand side.

A refined Chinese framed landscape painting showing a view during the evening. The tradition began during the Song Dynasty with literati landscapes. In the succeeding centuries, different artists produced these landscapes echoing poems by Li Bai or Guqin tunes. The landscape painting was done by an artist named, Tzuyue. Age: 20th century Size: length 26.6" height: 22.75"

Antique Chinese scroll of a young beauty with an old man signed Qian Hui An. A young woman stands behind the gate to her home as an old man admires her beauty from outside. It is signed Qian Hui'An (1833 - 1911) 19th century. It measures overall 21.5" x 89.5" the image measures 13.75" x 53.25".

Antique Chinese hanging scroll of a young woman in the garden under moonlight, signed Fei Dan Xu (1802 - 1850) 19th century, Qing dynasty. It measures overall 17.75" x 73", 12.75" x 17.25"

Serene and calm landscape of the mountains with three figures, two men and a boy, sitting by the river bank. There are two inscriptions at the top with seal marks below them. It is mounted on a yellow paper with a medallion pattern. The image measures 17" wide 50.25" long, overall 24" wide 90" long.

Antique Chinese scroll of a rooster with peonies. The rooster is painted naturalistically with white feathers and a grey/blue face with pink peonies in the background. There is a wax seal on a tag, threaded through the scroll. Seal says "Shen Shi " (named Nanpin). Attributed to Shen Quan (Shen Nanpin). It measures overall 19.75" wide by 76" tall, 16" by 52.5".

Antique Chinese framed painting of the mythological figure Zhong Kui, commander of 80,000 demons, vanquisher of evil spirits, and guardian of households. He appears to be controlling an unhappy looking green demon with a turtle shell, sometimes called Shui Gui. Two small bats fly just next to the calligraphy on the lefthand side, with red chop by the artist.

Gloriously painted rare round fan of Court maiden in garden with peony flowers and bamboo grove, her beckoning gestures alluding to a secret rendezvous. Reverse with gold flecked silk backed paper, encased in a hardwood frame. Faux bamboo hardwood handle. Good condition.

Antique Chinese hanging scroll with calligraphy signed Tie Bao. 19th century. The poem alludes to the benefits of meditation during the night improving one's perception of the arts. TiE Bao (1752 - 1824) It measures overall 12.5" x 78.25", 8" x 50".

Chinese antique scroll painting with calligraphy. Painted on green paper printed with silver dragon in clouds. Signed "Mo Youzhi". Mo Youzhi (1811-1871) was a famous calligraphy painter. 19th century. Size of scroll: 84" high x 22" wide. Size of art: 52 1/2" high x 16 1/4" wide.

Charming Chinese antique painting of a brown and white Pekingese dog, very beautifully painted with attention paid to every strand of hair. The dog crouches with tail up as if ready to play. The scenery is grassy with rocks and cymbidium orchids. Painted in ink and mineral colors on paper. 19th century. Antique Chinese fan painting with a poem by Song-dynasty poet Lu You. The original poem was written around 1201 when he was 76 and describes local delicacies from the area where he grew up. The fan is signed on the lower left side by 魏惟一 Wèi Wéiyī and seal: 惟一Wéiyī...
