Chinese rug from the Baotou-Suiyuan area, hand-woven in shades of blue with beige accents. The central image of a geometric medallion surrounded by scholar's objects, with scrolling meander double border, with white fringe edges.

Chinese pewter snuff bottle in the form of a peach with three leaves, one leaf done in copper. The pewter stopper is formed like a natural stem with attached spoon. The snuff bottle rests on its own small hardwood tripod base.

Chinese snuff bottle carved from turquoise mottled with natural dark brown veining. The front is carved in relief with a cat staring intently upwards at a nearby flying insect, surrounded by flora. The reverse is carved in relief with a bird perched on a flowering tree branch. The turquoise lidded stopper carved with lingzhi mushroom motif.

Chinese antique snuff bottle, carved entirely from turquoise in the form of a small adorable toad. The lower body of the toad appears more green and transitions to the classic turquoise blue in the upper body and face. the stone is mottled with natural dark brown oxide veining. The small toad is carved with a smiling, open mouth with a carved turquoise stopper.

Japanese set of 10 blue and white sobachoko or soba cups. With cobalt blue underglaze floral motifs and ocean landscapes, double ring below the inner rim, and a floral medallion in the center of the well with single ring. The foot is slightly recessed and left unglazed except for the center.

Antique Japanese 2-panel screen painting of a scene with a songbird on a gnarled, moss-covered rock. A stream runs around the rock. Blue and white irises grow on it's banks. Painted in mineral colors on gold leaf.

A small Korean personal chest with dramatic Elm hardwood front panels. The top set of doors opens to an inner compartment with carved hardwood border, and six small drawers. The middle doors and lower drop-down lid open to a large compartment lined in Korean paper. The upper and lower set of doors are book-matched so the natural woodgrain appears to mirror itself. The piece is fully detailed with brass hardware and plates.

Chinese porcelain dish with Qingbai light blue-green crackle glaze and very thin form. The well of the dish with incised motif of three swimming fish on wave ground, and low relief geometric scrolls and arrows along the inner edges, the rim left bare from glaze. The outer body slightly lobed and the foot is shallowly recessed and very wide and flat.

A small Chinese porcelain dish with Qingbai light blue-green crackle glaze and very thin form. The foliate edges of the dish are made to look like the petals of a flower, and the interior and exterior body are incised and slightly lobed for each petal. Chinese blue and white cylindrical porcelain incense vessel with a hardwood lid, carved with openwork lingzhi mushroom motifs and tripod feet. The vessel body depicts a scene of a scholar and attendant standing against a large rock formation. The sun in the sky above and the moon on the reverse side. Two fu dog heads form the pierced handles on the vessel.

A small Chinese eggshell thin ceramic bowl with celadon green underglaze. The center of the bowl is incised with floral motifs and scrolls, and the outer edges are scored with ridged lines. The body tapers to a small, slightly recessed foot with the edges exposed without glaze. Longquan celadon 15th century.

Chinese monochrome porcelain vase in a peach bloom underglaze of mottled green and red. The body of the vase is slightly rounded with a dramatic flattened two step foot, left unglazed around the edges. The neck is tall, slender and cylindrical in shape and fades to white around the rim. With six character Kangxi mark in cobalt blue on base. Most likely 19th century.

Chinese monochrome porcelain water coupe, with a round body and flattened foot. The red mottled peach bloom underglaze transitions to white around the short neck and flares slightly. The recessed foot with six character Kangxi mark in cobalt blue.

Chinese peking glass cup in a rich sea foam green monochrome color. The rim flares slightly and the short foot has a low recession in its center.

Japanese lacquer tray with low relief depiction of a peacock in fine gold maki-e lacquer, with maki-e lacquer chrysanthemums, against a nashiji gold flake ground. The peacock's face and the "eyes" of the feathers are inlaid with finely ground shell. The edges of the tray are of a mokko melon shape and the reverse of the tray is all in nashiji lacquer. With display stand.

Unusual pair of Korean inlaid black lacquer ichung nong stacking chests on stands. The interior of each section is lined in original blue paper. The front Nong has a brass plate in the form of a butterfly with complete circle knob brass locks and key and brass butterfly hinges on each door. Each chest is detailed on top, front, and sides with highly intricate mother of pearl inlay scenes of fishermen on boats, beautiful women, deer, rabbits, travelers riding donkeys, and vast landscape scenes...

Japanese calligraphy box made with Keyaki (elm) wood in original dark red lacquer finish. The lid lifts open on three iron hinges with a top iron handle to a shallow lacquered compartment for storing calligraphy papers, and closes securely with a small iron latch. The front of the box holds three drawers with iron lock plates and handles on floral shaped iron mounts.

Antique Japanese kogo, or incense box, used in traditional tea ceremony. The box is squared in shape with the lid ornately done in maki-e gold and red lacquer chrysanthemums, resembling the front cover of a story book with the revealed inner "page" done in silver.
