Antique Chinese pair of archaic hand carved bracelets, rested on custom iron display stands. Hand carved from Limestone. Circa: 2,000 B.C.

Antique Japanese Kiri (paulownia) wood tansu with a rare and unusual design of two large front hinged doors with flower incised iron bracing. Opening up to a multi shelved interior reminiscent of a cha tansu (tea chest). Two locking drawers sit beneath it. Beautiful original finish. Edo Period (Circa 1800's) Very charming size. Size: 22.75" H x 25" L x 12.5" D

Beautiful Chinese hardwood altar table in black lacquer finish, with highly intricate and ornate gilt lacquer designs all over. The front and back are carved to look like coins held together by ropes. The very top has three hand painted panels depicting gorgeously detailed ocean landscape scenes. The end panels are painted with peonies in gilt lacquer. Feet are carved with spirals. Early 19th Century Size:34" H x 49.5" L x 16" D

Antique Japanese asa (hemp) woven vest with a beautiful paste resist pattern of swimming koi fish and waves sewn over a hand painted scene of reeds. Beautiful and charming with its original condition. Edo Period (circa early 1800's). Size: 31.5" H x 23.5"

An exquisite Japanese pillow, the body woven with red pigment lacquer, the ends lacquered in black with gilt lacquer. One end depicts the mythical creature Baku, said to devour bad dreams. The other end is a floral scene with beautiful nashiji gold flakes.

Solid Keyaki hardwood used in every part of construction. Adorned in heavy iron hardware and original locking bar. Excellent original condition. Working keys are included. Antique Chinese Han Dynasty pottery statue of a dancer, shown seated on a hardwood burl base (not included). Beautifully sculpted with remnants of old pigments, natural wear throughout due to age. Han Dynasty (221-207 AD) Size: 20" H x 11" W x 5.5" D

Rare Japanese chirimen silk kimono with a jacquard weave, in gradating shades of blue, with Shibori designs of flowers and flowing water, lined in salmon pink silk with flowers. Shibori is a very labor intensive style of dying fabric in which small areas are tied and twisted to create dramatic patterns. Jacquard weaving is done on a special loom and results in complex patterns. Size: 67" H x 51" L

Unusual secondary burial jar carved of white limestone in the form of a person. Wonderfully sculpted with the head and shoulders making up the lid portion of the jar. The body of the jar is carved with the person's arms in low relief while the rest of the jar maintains an ovoid form. Kulaman Plateau, Cotobatu, Philippines.

Antique Japanese nagamochi karuma storage trunk. Made of kiri (paulownia) wood and solid Keyaki hardwood wheels with iron hardware and mounts. A large high relief embossed iron locking plate in the form of a phoenix created a lock and latch system on the front of the trunk. The phoenix bird represents justice and Sun obedience...

Antique wooden lusong (mortar). This lusong was used with a lomok (pestal) by the B'laan people to pound rice in order to separate the grain from the husks. The B'laan people are indigenous of Southern Mindanao in the Philippines. This lusong is especially large and beautifully carved of a single piece of hardwood. Size: 24 1/2" high x 21 1/4" wide diameter.

Antique Japanese Keyaki (elm) choba tansu (merchant chest) with original golden brown finish. Used to store important documents for ones business. Made from all Keyaki hardwood with dramatic, gorgeous graining seen throughout. Two large sliding front panels of beautiful swirling natural burl patterns. Five locking drawers beneath for additional drawer storage. Early Meiji Period (1868 - 1912). Size: 28.5" H x 28.5" L x 15.5" D

Unique Antique Indian bed from the Bastar area. Beautifully rustic solid teak wood. Carved details along the sides and head. Supported by large rounded teak posts. Very well hand-crafted, robust and strong original bastar bed. Late 19th century.
