Chinese jade vase carved with blossoming flower branches and birds. Carved of a single jade pebble. The vase portion is a whitish green color and the flowers and birds are carved of the orange outer rind of the jade stone. Highly carved and three dimensional.

Chinese pair of jade cylinders carved with dragons. Each cylinder is made of green and white mottled jade. The dragons float in the sky surrounds by fire, mist and lingzhi shaped cloud forms.

A vintage Chinese coffer altar cabinet in the Ming style made entirely of Huanghuali wood including the back and the interior shelves. All original brass square plate and loop handles with a pair of double hinged doors and 3 side by side drawers above. With classic spandrels and apron for the feet. The maker spared no expense using the finest quality materials and joinery craftsmanship in producing this piece.

A set of 6 mid century modern (MCM) double cane back dining chairs with overstuffed seats. Made by Rachid Ismael Assan through his company Fabrica de Moveis Brasil, a large school that started a modern furniture movement in Brazil and lasted for 54 years until 1981. The beautiful carved side supports for the seats combined with the perfectly arched backs to these very comfortable chairs will elevate any dining experience...

Pair of office lounge chairs from Liceu de Artes e Oficios (School of Arts and Crafts) Sao Paulo, Brazil. The school which opened in 1873, has produced many famous artisans, designers and architects as well as well known large monuments and buildings.
These chairs are made of Brazilian rosewood and black leather.

Dining table and 8 wishbone chairs by Arthur Espenet (1920-2006). Espenet was born in New York and later settled in Bolinas, California. He was a self taught master woodworker and furniture maker with pieces in the collections of the Smithsonian Institute, The Museum of Modern Art and the Museum of Arts and Design in New York.

Pair of Mid-Century Modern Diz armchairs by Sergio Rodrigues (1927-2014), Brazil. Solid wood and curved plywood structure. The wood has been varnished to maintain its natural characteristics.

Milo Boughman black leather sofa with Brazilian book matched rosewood. Milo Boughman (1923-2003) born in Goodland, Kansas, was a pioneer in modern design and one of the leading modern furniture designers of the second half of the 20th century.

A Philip & Kelvin Laverne Etruscan round dining or center table in patinated bronze and pewter.

Philip Laverne (1908-1988) and his son Kelvin (b. 1936) sought to create pieces that were both functional furniture and expressions of fine art. This table is one fine example of their creative achievement.

A Henredon Chinoiserie triple dresser with shoe closet in Elm and mixed woods. Nine double beaded drawers (3 with partitions) and a pair of cane paneled ventilating shoe closet doors with 2 storage drawers behind.

A mid century Chinese buffet finished in a striking patinated bronze over wood. A solid stone top was designed with a bull nose edge on all sides. The finish has a checkerboard style of look. Two pairs of doors with the left set opening to 5 drawers and the right set opening to a spacious storage area.
