Charming Chinese carved jadeite scene of two monkeys on a large peach, one of them holds a lotus leaf like an umbrella, carved out of beautiful white jadeite with areas of lavender, the lotus has dramatic striations of bright green, 20th century. Size: 2 1/2" high

Peking glass is a special process in which glass is dipped into differently colored glass layer by layer, and the excess is carved away. Balinese Mask of a fanged man/demon used in the art form of the Topeng dance drama, which came about in the 15th century in Bali and Java. The Balinese version of Topeng would include many different character masks, some speaking and some non-speaking. The mask has real hair mounted on strips of leatherr lacquered face and eyes, with a lot of detailed carvings such as his teeth and wrinkles. circa 1920s Size: 8" height, 5.75" width
