Antique Chinese Peking glass vase. Oval form made of white glass with red glass overlay carved with a pair of dragons. The dragons fly over waves of water in a sky with wisps of flame and cloud.
Among Chinese symbols, the dragon represents the most powerful symbol of good fortune, the symbol of cosmic Chi (energy).

Antique Chinese Peking glass bowl in a brilliant yellow color. Foliate form with six sides. Each lobed section is carved with a different type of flower ranging from lotus to narcissus.

Antique Japanese bronze Buddhist temple lantern. The finial is a flaming jewel and the corners of the roof are hung with bells. A dragon is coiled around the lower portion of the lantern stand. Many areas are decorated with colorful cloisonné clouds, flowers and cranes. Electrified.

Large Chinese yellow Peking glass vase. Dramatic baluster form with tall neck and rounded foot. The rim displays how many layers of glass it took to create this vase. The color is a vivid golden/yellow color previously reserved for imperial use.

An antique Chinese altar table made of Huanghuali wood with a work surface incorporating a cloisonné insert. Cabriole legs with claw feet each holding a ball leading up to the mitered corners profiling the Fu Dogs. Central carved image on the front and back shows the Fu Dogs. Scrolling vines throughout the apron with an archaic Ching dynasty key fret below which are lotus petals surrounding the table. Antique Chinese pair of recumbent deer. Made of copper and cloisonné of multiple colored enamel. Each deer has a round opening and lid on it's back. They sit with hooves folded under and heads looking back over shoulders. Minor losses.

Antique Japanese cloisonné vase decorated with various types of blooming chrysanthemums from a large white variety to purple then small red and yellow flowers. The ground is a deep blue. The interior and bottom are covered in green enamel.

Antique Chinese Peking glass snuff bottle. Overlay glass in red, yellow and dark blue on a white glass ground. A bird sits on a branch heavy with fruit. Lovely continual scene, beautifully carved with great detail and depth. Four small cartouches in red glass overlay. The lid is made of quartz and has a bone spoon.

Antique Chinese Peking glass snuff bottle. Made of black glass overlaid on a pink glass ground. It is carved with a man on a horse on one side and the other with a scholar's attendant walking with a large blossoming branch slung over his shoulder. Large flowering branches sprout from the ground on either side. The lid is made of rose quartz and the spoon is bone.

Antique Chinese cloisonne vase. Globular form with long, straight neck. Decorated with designs of phoenix birds and flowers in yellow, green, blue, red and white enamel on a turquoise blue enamel ground. With a cloisonné four-character mark on the bottom.

Antique Japanese small and exceptionally fine cloisonné vase. Four sided shaped body with a flower reserve on each side including irises, wisteria, chrysanthemums, daisies and maple. More fine details on the neck and sides.

An antique Japanese 2 section store glass display Tansu made of Kurinoki (Chestnut frame) Kirinoki (Paulownia drawer fronts) and Suginoki (Cryptomeria for the balance of the chest) woods. Most glass panes are original showing their wavy characteristic when viewed at an angle. Original hand forged iron Hikute handles. Single section Hinkoki (Japanese Cypress) and Sugi (Cryptomeria) wood merchant glass display tansu. Originally used in a merchant shop to display the stores wares for sale.. Shallow in depth with countertop height. Two shelves are located inside for storage needs with the glass support panes in line with the shelves preventing visual distraction of items being shown. Beautifully finished with natural blond tones. Overall in very good condition.

Antique Chinese seated Guanyin made of bronze and beautifully decorated with bright colored enamel. She hold a water jar in her right hand. In her crown sits a small image of Amitabha, her spiritual teacher. Her robes are decorated with raised auspicious objects and swirling clouds. Guanyin is short for Guan Shi Yin which means "Observing the Sounds of the World". As she is the Goddess of Compassion, she is constantly listening for the pleas of those in need.

Antique Japanese single section tansu with pair of sliding glass doors. Four uniform drawers sit symmetrically at the bottom of the chest. Overall simple modern design with functional use. Natural finish, over hinoki (Japanese cypress) wood.

Would make for a great low media cabinet.
