Nepalese Stone mandorla shaped stele with Vishnu four-armed striding the earth with his giant stride. Light grey stone plinth with devotee and consorts at lotus throne base. Rough back at reverse. Hishnu was know to be able to cover the entire distance around earth in three strides.

Chinese yellow soapstone scholar's seal. The stone is carved with scenes of sages and their attendant with landscape ground of mountains, pine trees, and bamboo. The reverse is also carved with a man seated at the edge of water, his finger pointing towards the mountains where a temple roof is partially unobscured. Antique Chinese pair of stone temple fu dogs. These fierce guardians would have been placed on either side of the entrance to a Buddhist temple in order to ward off evil spirits.
