An 11th Century stone sculpture used as a doorway fret. Images of female dieties In the relief sculpture, chief image is a female holding a petaled flower and surrounded by other gods. Narasimha (Sanskrit: Narasiṃha, man-lion) is an avatar of the Hindu god Vishnu, one who incarnates in the form of part lion and part man to destroy evil and end religious persecution and calamity on Earth, thereby restoring Dharma.

Chinese yellow soapstone scholar's seal. The stone is carved with scenes of sages and their attendant with landscape ground of mountains, pine trees, and bamboo. The reverse is also carved with a man seated at the edge of water, his finger pointing towards the mountains where a temple roof is partially unobscured. The seal on the base of the soapstone reads "a virtue should be praised".

Antique Chinese pair of stone temple fu dogs. These fierce guardians would have been placed on either side of the entrance to a Buddhist temple in order to ward off evil spirits. One statue has its mouth open and the other mouth is closed, a symbolic trait to represent the in-and-out breathing of life and the sound of “om.” Heavy in weight.

Originally, this graceful sculpture may have stood at the doorway of a palace or temple as a warning to all malicious spirits not to enter. Antique Chinese pair of stone temple door supports with carvings of fu dogs, seated on tanggu (ceremonial drums) on large pedestals. Intricately carved detail with emblems of dragons and auspicious characters on the front of each pedestal. The smaller female fu dog on the left is carved with her mouth closed, while the larger male on the right has an open mouth. This is a typical depiction to represent the sacred mantra "om". Extremely heavy, solid stone.
